I have just recently enjoyed my 50th birthday at this marvellous establishment! Champagne and canapés in the very atmospheric 'Wine Cave' Then on to a slap up do! In the dining room, with 44 some what lively guests!? The Angel team handled the whole affair with great flair and professionalism. The food was superb with tapas & anti pasta to start, beef bourguignon & brulee to follow all perfect! The staff were excellent and the whole day gathered a clutch of fab revues! This INN and its team make the perfect venue for that special occasion - THANK YOU once again to all ....

Even the sun shone all day to make our wedding at the Angel Inn just perfect !
Our initial contact with Simon over the phone last year immediately put our minds at rest, and confirmed that we had chosen just the right place for our wedding in October. All details were discussed and prices agreed and due to the diligence of all the staff involved, all plans materialised perfectly to make our day very special and memorable.
We booked out every room for our wedding party and all were amazed and delighted with the individuality of each room and the high standards therein.
The day ran smoothly with minimum worry from ourselves due to maximum organisational skills from all the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional from early morning, all throughout the day and late into the night.
All the food served from the bacon sandwiches on arrival, through to the Auberge Dining for the wedding party and finally the breakfast for all guests the day after was excellent.
We would highly recommend The Angel Inn for all your requirements, informal lunch, speciality dining, and best of all for a weekend away in an idyllic setting.
