This is very interesting place to stay. First to understand the socialist way of living of the kibbutz community, also for relaxing. The place is gourgeous, quite, peacefull, the service is good, rooms are renovated and clean. The food is the best! Breakfast and dinner were spectacular. The best food I had in Israel. There nothing around (restaurant, shops, etc). So it's not a place to stay long term, unless you want to relax. They have complimentary wifi in the room. I recommend it!

The hotel has different types of rooms, suites, garden rooms, etc.
The garden rooms are simple, small and over priced.
It was cold, and the air-condition did not work properly. However you could hear the motor of the many air-condition units that where hanging just behind my room.
My friends had a suite and liked it a lot.
Breakfast is o.k, but the coffee was instant and not tasty. The Bar Coffee Machine operates only from 9am and it cost 13 shekel a cup.

Stayed one night at end of October. We were offered an upgrade but since we were only going to stay there a few hours before moving on we kept the less expensive room. Upon entering room we found a major flood in the bathroom, beginning to enter the bedroom. We went to front desk to ask for a new room. Yossi, the manager exchanged words with the desk clerk in Hebrew, not knowing that we understood, and then told us he had no other rooms (5 minutes after we were offered the upgrade). We let him know that this was unacceptable, he became nasty and begrudgingly told the clerk, again in Hebrew, to give us the upgraded room. He stormed away without a word. We have traveled to Israel many times and have never ever been so rudely treated. Next day we e-mailed the manager of the property and received a form e-mail response thanking us for the feedback.

Nice hotel for a family. Rooms are definitely basic but clean and bathrooms were newish. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast was terrific. But no internet access available in our room so if that's important to you then make sure you book in a room that is able to get wi-fi. We loved being close to lots of great hikes and national parks so if that is what you are looking for then it is a great location, but otherwise it might be a bit remote.
