“nice but different”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011 via mobile

We have stayed at the st crisp in. The new managers are not the same as tye and diane however, give them time. In worth there are four b&b's, and Tye and Diane have there own. Chiltern Villa. Its excellent (1st class) we have stayed there many times now full breakfast and room for £50.00. We have stayed at the Blue Pigeons ok if you like church bells going every hour off the night, the rooms there are £95.00 and continentle breakfast. If you wanted a full english breakfast you had to pay extra. The village is a lovely its so beautifull, there are stunning walks down to the sea its just beautiful. We are deffinatly coming back to worth good luck to you all.

“New managers are doing well!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

We had a lovely stay this weekend in this home from home in Worth. The accommodation itself was clean (in one of the chalets) and, although not luxurious, had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. If I had to be picky, the TV could have been slightly bigger, and the shower could have been slightly stronger, but these were only mild irritations, and certainly didn't stop us having a great time.
What really made it for us was the service from the owner's daughter (in fact all her staff - she obviously taught them well!) who was willing to help with our questions and really made us feel welcomed by always checking that we were ok every step of the way. Breakfast was great - no-one would go hungry, and we had a meal in the restaurant one evening which was also superb. A lovely little pub with a roaring log burner which made for a cosy place to have a drink too.
We will definitely be returning - thanks so much for your efforts.......see you again one day.
Would definitely recommend for a quiet & relaxing get-away.

“St. Crispins Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

Stayed there on the 8/10/11 in one of the chalet rooms. My son, daughter-in-law and their 2 children stayed in a chalet room also. The chalets were very clean, warm and confortable. The meals and service were both excellent. The staff were very good with the grandchildren.
I hope to return there again.

“Too Popular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

Have stayed at the Crispin a few times, tried to get in recently but fully booked - our fault for leaving it so late. How nice to learn that The Chilton Villa in The Street has 2 beautiful en-suite rooms, also at reasonable rates. Do try it if you cannot get in The Crispin. The village is so lucky to have such a high standard of accommodation at both these venues.

“Disappointing”

We chose the St.Crispin Inn based on internet reviews. Perhaps we are a little critical but finding part of the bathroom floor collapsed, constant zooming noises from the Inns kitchen in the bedroom (extractor system) breakfast orders wrongly taken and mixed up with other guests plus a steak meal in the evening that we returned to the kitchen etc. These problems were all correctly addressed by the very friendly staff and we were offered and accepted another room at a discounted price. All things considered a nice place to stay but the new owners need to spend a considerable amount of money at The St.Crispin Inn before the 4 star rating can be justified.

Room Tip: Check that the rooms are up to standard before booking.
