We visited for our dinner on Sunday evening and enjoyed every bit of it. Quick service, friendly staff and lovely, tasty food. Menu is simple and not pretentious like some other local country hotels. Seemed to be very popular with couples of all ages, and families.

My son and I have just returned south after staying at The Red House Hotel for five days. Our twin room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - well done chef! We used the hotel as a base for sight seeing in different parts of the area and its central location made this very easy. We have stayed there before - and will certainly do so again.

Our group of 16 male golfers from Devon booked the Red House Hotel, Coupar Angus as our base for a 4 day golf trip. For many of us, it was our first trip to Scotland, and it won't be our last. The hotel offered us a very reasonable db&b rate based on twin room sharing.
We arrived mid morning after an early morning flight from Bristol to find most of our rooms already prepared and we were allowed to access those rooms early so that we could depart to our first round of golf.
The rooms were spacious, very clean with a double and a single bed available.
The evening meal from the main menu was exceptional with service provided by the very helpful restaurant and bar staff to match. Breakfast was just as good.
Other facilities at the hotel included sauna, gymnasium, snooker/pool room, squash and sports bar.
Alan Bannerman and his staff could not do enough for us during our stay and I would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel to any golf groups seeking a central base for a good selection of golf courses.
I would also mention the excellent service from Stuart Robertson of Coupar Cabs who provided us with airport and golf club transfers during our trip and were never late.
