The room was a bit shabby but clean and quiet .The bathroom was fine with a very efficient shower. As we paid £10 for the night it was excellent value!

The handle was practically falling off the door, no 'do not disturb' sign, no chain or lock on my side of the door and being a single woman felt uneasy about that. Table not cleaned very well, hair from the last guest found, room looked shabby part of built in wardrobe area missing, bathroom not clean, cleaners knocked on door I asked them to return later as I was still getting ready they never came back, had to press call button 3 times to find receptionist waiting a good 4 - 5 mins between each one - not very good if they are needed in an emergency. On checking out I was not asked if my stay was ok but that was probably because they knew what the answer would be....I'm aware they are cheap prices paid for these rooms however you can get a premier inn room for cheaper and much better standard.

This was the first time that we'd stayed in this hotel, having passed it for many a year. Excellent service at reception. The room was clean and quiet. The best thing about the stay was the fantastic shower in the morning - by far and away the best I've ever experienced in a Travelodge!

We'd booked the room well in advance and managed to get it for £10. So it was excellent value for money too.

The Travelodge was the first stop in our big trip to the top of Scotland. We booked nicer places for the rest of our holiday, but as we had to drive 6+ hours for two consecutive days, we settled for something easy on our way up. The Travelodge was easy to find, and checking in and out was a breeze. The room was very standard, as expected, but there was no problems with it. We had a good night's sleep and were ready for the next day. We did pay a bit of a high price for this kind of room (£50), but I know that they offer a much better rate if you book early.
