Just got back from 5 days in Skiathos and I have to say that staying at the Magic Hotel very much contributed to the success of my holiday. Good location (just 50 mt from the bus stop and halfway between the Port and Koukounaris beach), rooms are modern and comfortable, wonderful views, spotlessly clean (let's be honest, not always a given on the Greek islands) and hugely friendly and helpful staff. Theodora, Monica, everyone at the restaurant (delicious food by the way), the lovely girl working at the pool bar whose name i cannot remember. Thank you all for making my stay even more enjoyable!

This is the second time we have stayed at Magic hotel in Skiathos ( Agia Paraskeui) and everything was simply magical once more.
the staff was polite and willing to answer all our questions.
we have booked a deluxe twin room with a view to the sea and we were really satisfied with it.the room was modern and spacious and the twin bed had Cocomat mattress.. it was cleaned every day and towels too. there was a problem with our hair dryer but it was fixed immediately. :)
the hotel`s breakfast and the area (balcony with a view to the sea) in which it was served , it was the best way to start our day!!

We enjoyed Skiathos tremendously, but the Magic Hotel did not fully meet our high expectations, after reading some of the reviews. It is a good and professionally run hotel, with great sea views from the room and breakfast area. The room is in good condition, but relatively simple. The bathroom very basic. The mezanine level had a double bed, but was clearly for the kids due to low ceiling. The main area had 2 single beds, but was for the parents. They should change this around. The pool was nice, but much of surrounding area was grass which nobody liked. They should change it to tiles or wood for more hygiene and comfort. Many staff were non Greeks (e.g. Ukranian), which makes for a slightly different experience at a Greek island, although they were friendly. Please note that the hotel is at the wrong side of a busy (and noisy) road, so you have to cross to get to the beach. Also, you see the road from the hotel and it makes quite a bit of noise. The hotel was rather expensive for what it really offers.
