We had our Wedding Anniversary meal here and could not fault the food, the service and the ambience. Lovely place.

This beautiful restaurant with rooms is a stone’s throw from Yeovil and boasts the most fantastic location, menu, and ambiance one could wish for.
Reviewed by papers like the Sunday Telegraph, it has earned and deserves every accolade possible.
From the welcome pot of tea and homemade cakes served in the beautiful garden, to the lovely old style, but comfortable rooms, and superb dining experience, this is THE romantic getaway!
I cannot praise it highly enough.

We found Little Barwick House on the internet, and were delighted. When we telephoned to book, we were asked whether a duvet or top sheet (must have discerned we were Americans) and the hospitality continued from there. Our reception was efficient and friendly, not fussy. The room was extremely comfortable, the shortbread cookies were wonderful with our tea. And the dinner in the evening was remarkably good. We were greeted by other friendly guests in the lounge, and by dinner's end three couples of us were sorry to see coffee and sweets in the lounge come to an end. Hope to get back.

This is the 2nd time I have sent in this review because it was never published. I wonder why, do you not like critical reviews?
Before you did not publish this, I would have recommend it, as I feel it was our bad luck. Now, I am not so sure.
No complaints about anything except the food. It was totally tasteless, we both had two different courses and both said the same thing, Chef's night off. So disappointing as that was the reason we went there.
