What a beautiful guest house. Just home from an, all to brief, overnight stay at this lovely, lovely place. We stayed in the 'Garden' room, which was a little seperate building with it's own conservatory. It's was perfect. We were attending a party in the village, and my friend who, I don't get to see often was also staying at the Lindens. We were able to sit up late chatting in the comfy chairs in the conservatory, while my other half slept in the next room, secure in the knowledge our hysterical laughter wasn't disturbing anyone else (we hope).

We were given a warm welcome on arrival, wonderful breakfast in the morning...I can't say enough good things about The Lindens...expect if you're around the Olney area, you must stay here...and for £70.00, I haven't stayed anywhere better :-)

This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is ideal, right on the High street, walking distance to everything you could want. Great room, comfortable and clean and awesome breakfast. Very welcoming.

This was our second night at a different B & B having cycled many miles on a three day trip with my husband and 4 friends. We were delighted when shown our rooms. They were spotless and comfortable. Had everything we needed, Tea/coffee making facilties with biscuits. Fresh milk and bottled water in the mini fridge. Toiletries. TV. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast. Lovely garden and walking distance to pub, shops and places to eat. My husband and I were in the family room with a conservatory. It had a double bed and a single bed. It looked newly decorated and furnished. Virginia was a mavelous landlady who gave 6 bedraggled cyclists a warm welcome and I would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful guest house.

This place is a gem...from the handy location on the high street to the hidden wonderful backyard, to the great rooms & amazing breakfasts, and the wonderful couple who run the guest house...all simply amazing. If you need more proof, I noticed that each morning the breakfast area had a number of returning traveling professionals who come thru Olney on a regular basis, and they wouldn't stay anywhere else. They treat you like family and the location is ideal for travel into Milton Keynes, Bedford, or a number of other locales.
Don't be fooled by the modest exterior, it's what's inside that counts. Plus you are only steps away from the quiet local pub!
