My friends and I wanted the perfect summer getaway and we chanced upon Palm Beach Resort. If you are looking for a secluded relaxing haven, Palm Beach is a perfect refuge. Its a complete opposite of the beach scene we see in Boracay or Puerto Galera. They offer massages and their cabanas are very relaxing, pretty and enticing. Food is not that great. They mainly serve comfort food and is served in their al fresco dining area. So, eating is not as comfortable during lunch when the sun is scorching hot.
One of the downsides of the resort is that it has zilch signal for Globe subscribers. For Smart subscribers, there a number of spots where you get a signal but when we were inside our room, all signals were down. If you want a totally peaceful break, you will achieve it at the Palm Beach resort.
The rooms were not as spacious as shown in the internet. Its just about right. the room we stayed in was good for four but it had only one double bed and a sofabed with a pullover. It wasnt very comfortable. Good thing is the rooms have a terrace. The staff were pleasant and courteous but we observed that their manpower is not enough. We had to walk all the way to their reception to get extra towels because their staff was nowhere in sight. The beach is rocky and may not be too accommodating and safe for kids.
for a total get away from the metropolis and if you dont want any form of communication from the city life, this is the spot.
