If you're one of those who need a lot of convincing to make up their mind about a place, be assured I felt the same way. The Jade turned out to be comfortable, secluded, peaceful, scenic and absolutely beautiful. Coupled with that was the hospitality of the hosts Kabir & Megha. The food is so fresh and authentic Coorgi. It is so tasty that you'll need to bid goodbye to your diet for a while.
Pork, chicken, mutton, akki roti, dosa, aloo subzi were just some of the things that we feasted on. Added to this was the amazing desserts which the hostess would whip up. They were so sensitive that they always cooked something separately for kids.
When one of us was unwell, Kabir's mom who oversees the food preparation made us a glass of home remedial lemon juice. These folks are so hospitable! Kabir also took us for a 1.5 hour trek up a part of the way to the Brahmagiris.
Bottom line: You won't be disappointed, but instead you'll be spoilt and will enjoy a great time. All the best Kabir and Megha. We'll certainly visit again.

Home stays!! Its new concept in karnataka. I had plans to experience this since long. It was in the end of summer we had an chance to experience this at our own coorg!! Jade- Its an huge old heritage home located in country sides of coorg! It was an great break from our daily routines and summer heat of bengaluru.

This homestay reminds me of our own culture and villge ambience. the place is very spacious and th hospitality is simply great!

This was our first experience in a homestay so were a little skeptical as to what to expect. However as soon as we reached Jade, it was love at first sight...
The location is excellent, surrounded by greenery and nestled within the Brahmagiri hills. The rooms are clean and well maintained. This place has a charm of its own.
Kabir and Megha are great hosts who always made us feel at home. There are lot of places to see around and Kabir was a great help with the roadmaps to these places. In fact we kept calling him for directions once we were out site seeing and he was happy to help us.
Aunty ( Kabirs mom) cooks wonderful food and we got a good taste of the coorg cuisine.
All in all, it was a wonderful trip and if we were to go there again, we would not think of any other place than Jade.

I am a guy who is very critical of food if not prepared well.This place had an amazing taste in veg and non veg. The owners Megha and Kabir are a provide a great hospitality one could imagine. The rooms are decent. The place is quite and nice.I never write reviews for places but i had such an amazing exp that i am forced to do by my innerself :)
