Terrible terrible terrible. terrible room, toilets, horrible hallways leading to the smallest lift I have err stepped foot in.

Dated, aged, haggard, horrible horrible place.

Please do not stay here.

Awful, if that's not enough to deter you then stay here and get what you deserve.

Stayed overnight on the 12th of november 2011 with my girlfriend. We was greeted warmly, quickly checked in and told where to go for our room. We got into the room and yes it is decorated sparsly and perhaps it is dated BUT it was very clean, had a tv and beds - the beds being the ONLY reason we wanted any hotel for the night.
It was alot cheaper than other hotels in the same area for the same night.
The beds were fine, small room and bathroom but again we only planned on sleeping over night at the hotel - NOT staying in the room enjoying the walls.
Apparently reading other reviews of this hotel, ive discovered other people would like to stay in the room all day and stare at the wall - obviously hoping it to be decorated with gold items of such rarity that they get excited.
The staff were helpful and friendly when we talked to them - and contrary to other reviews - 2 started converstions with us all by themselves.
The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Shower had hot water, sometimes went cold randomly. The TV worked though sound was abit dodgy, but only saw the england game while getting ready so didnt need the sound so much.
Reception staff and the cleaner were both very friendly.
We stayed on a saturday so i would guess it is meant to be the busiest night for the music others have reported - we were on the 2nd floor - and heard nothing of it and slept fine.
If you want a hotel to stay in over night, not too uppity and fancy - i recommend it to everybody.

Stayed here back in June and was horrified. The hotel is dated and dirty. Breakfast isn't included in the room, and is disgusting (napkin left in the baked beans etc). Saturday nights are noisy to say the least, and although they may warn you it might disrupt you, I may as well have been in the function room because the music was that loud - my bed was literally shaking to the beat! There was no cold water in my room so you couldn't shower as it would scold you.

Yes its a cheap hotel, but I'm sure there are some nicer, cleaner alternatives for a similar price! One positive is the parking!

Booked this hotel at short notice as somewhere to stay whilst in Manchester for a night to watch Man Utd, for the amount it cost we could have got somewhere much better I'm sure even at short notice!
It is dated (looked like it was last refurbed in the 70's - possibly also when it was last properly cleaned too!), dirty, smells a bit, breakfast is expensive addition and is quite nasty! Squeaky, hard bed. Mouldy, damp smelling bathroom. Filthy carpets and windows. Staff will chat to you but seemingly only if you strike up a conversation. Bar shut early. Function room on ground floor was very noisy.
Would not recommend to anybody!!
