In stayed for a couple of weeks and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helped. The rooms on the ground floor have patio doors into the bedroom and this means taking in cases and going to the car - is two steps away. The room was clean. The double bed isn't its two singles zipped together. The TV is mounted high on the wall and fixed, so you cannot sit under it to watch TV. The room has two chairs - and a small round table, and is really only for sleeping in. They have delux rooms - but they are upstairs and the quick get away is not an option. If I cannot comment on the bar or food, as I did not visit either. If you like modern, and a driving range - this is your hotel. There is a pub opposite - and little else nearby.

We booked the Beamish Park Hotel for our civil wedding ceremony and reception on October 29th 2011, everything from the organisation by wenche, the fabulous food and the accommodation were superb and we would highly recommend it as a venue for a Wedding reception. In fact it was so good we fancied doing it all again this year.

well what can i say the best ever new year party we have ever had ,great food fabulous service, the two pauls were great all night, and julia at breakfast was great, how does the beamish park do it so well when the others struggle to provide the goods when so busy,i must say the others should learn from the BEST .! ! ! 10 Out of 10 !

Just back from a weekend in Newcastle and stayed at the Beamish Park Hotel. We've stayed there before as we have family in the area and what is always impressive is the warmth and friendliness of the service. You are always made to feel welcome whether at reception, in the bar or the restaurant and whilst we travel a lot we find the Beamish Park one the most welcoming places we go. The restaurant has an excellent menu and a very good wine list, the breakfast is not to be missed, only surpassed by the view from the dining room. My wife enjoyed a night out with family a little too much and was struggling to raise a smile the next morning, the staff were excellent and offered room service whilst I tucked in to a full cooked breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and offer everything for a good nights sleep. A great hotel in a wonderful location.
