stayed there from 19 september to the 30 september a fantastic holiday entertainment staff kelvin wilson and valentine exellent all staff from cleaners reception and reasteraunt fantastic, bar closes for all inclusive at 11 oclock. outside the hotel there is 3 pubs 2 supermarkets and a gift shop. just down from the hotel is the bus stop the number 2 bus takes you into san antonio 1.5 euros or the hotel will book you a taxi cost 10 euros.the rooms are small but very clean only 2 floors there is about 10 units 3 pools jacuzzi tennis court park and crazy golf.there is entertainment and games from 10 in the morning.bingo prizes champagne t.shirt and mugs as prizes but it takes ages as it is in 6 languages.
there is a small beach just 15 mins walk from the hotel its brilliant.i will definatly be going back there again it starts to close down for the winter at the end of october but service is still as good as the summer is.if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go.

Room Tip: ask for a pool view as we were down the side and looked into the rooms opposite no privacy

“Average All Inclusive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

Visited October, the hotel was closing the day after we came home, but facilities were still OK. Not a good location, on a hill leading down to a small cove. Says it's wheelchair friendly, some of it is, except cardiac hill type ramp up to restaurant, I couldn't push my wife up it, but the staff, to their credit, did give assistance when asked. Rooms very small even by Spanish All-Inclusive standards. Food OK, plenty choice. Bar opening times and choice of drinks OK but could do with more staff at night.

Room Tip: Not much to choose, it's set out in a few blocks, quite close together, 3 storey.

“Fab hotel overall”

Spent 2 wks here at the beginning of sept.
Reception: helpful & friendly. Asked to change room, this wasn't a problem just had to wait til next day.
Rooms, small and fairly basic, but has everything you need & spotlessly clean, towels changed everyday if u wish, bedding every other day!
Food, fab!! So much choice, the meat being cooked on a grill is superb, chicken, steak, lamb, turkey all cooked really well. As well ad this thee is usual well stocked salad counter, hot dishes, pasta dishes, usually fish, choice of 2 soups, and a diff rice dish everyday, the paella is stunning! Fresh bread & rolls every meal time & choice of 5 or 6 desserts as well as fresh fruit, def one of the best a.I we have been too!
Entertainment is led by kelvin, along with gaby, Diego, valentina & francessca, work really hard, lots of daytime activities to get involved in as much or as little as u want, it's all organised really well. Evening starts with mini disco followed by bingo or a game then a show.
A few shops and restaurants across the road and the beach is 5 mins away!
All in all a lovely place to stay away from the madness of San Antonio but close enough for a night out, only 1.50€ on the bus!

“Great holiday at a super hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

My wife and I have just returned from a two week holiday at the Barcelo Pueblo in Port Des Torrent, Ibiza. Although we went at the end of the season all facilities and amenities were available for the hotel guests. We stayed on an all inclusive board basis and both agree that this was an excellent holiday.
Location - This hotel is located in the small resort of Port Des Torrent which is about 9 miles from the centre of San Antonio. This lovely resort is quiet with several shops, pubs and restaurants. The beautiful beach is a five minute walk from the hotel.
Food and Drink - In my opinion this hotel caters for all tastes across their breakfast, lunch and dinner services. There was always freshly cooked meat and fish dishes available along with various pasta dishes. These were complimented with a variety of vegetables, potato and salad dishes. The desserts were extremely tasty and it was a challenge not to eat too much! In all honesty we found the food and choice of dishes to be first class! The bar was open from 10am to 11pm and served San Miguel beer along with a vast selection of local spirits.Tea,
coffee, soft drinks and water were also available. Snacks consisting of biscuits/cakes, burgers, hot dogs, toasties and chips were available throughout the day.
Bed rooms - The rooms although compact were perfectly adequate for our requirements. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning was used on a daily basis. The rooms are spotlessly clean and are cleaned every day with fresh towels being provided.
Animation - The staff led by Kelvin were excellent and certainly worked very hard every day.
There were various events that you could participate in if you wished. We certainly enjoyed the various games including the darts, air rifle/pistol shooting, archery, stretching exercises, dancing, water polo / basket ball, beach volleyball and football. The evening entertainment was varied and certainly of a high standard. There was also ample opportunity to participate if you wished to do so!
Hotel Staff - Excellent! 10/10 - I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at this hotel. They were friendly, helpful and went about their work with a high degree of enthusiasm! The hotel is kept spotlessly clean by all members of staff!

In summary - This was a great holiday at a super hotel. The all inclusive board basis worked well for us and we were really impressed with the consistently high standard of food that was served at all meal times. We would certainly go back to this hotel without hesitation!

“relaxing holiday”

We stayed for a week on 7th September and, as a couple, it was a good time to choose as all the children seem to have gone back to school!
For what we paid the hotel was good.
The food : was acceptable , the bread in spanish hotels is always so fresh. As someone else said the desserts were not out of this world, most look fabulous but don't taste of a lot, but I have found that allover Spain
Rooms : small but spotlessly clean. TV: Just about 2 english news channels
Pool areas: Fine, particularly the one with the checked tiles, it had jets in it , similar to a jacuzzi, which caused waves when you swam , great!
Chill out bar: we didn't use it, not included in the AI, but it looked a bit "tired", however it was the end of the season.
Reception staff: Helpful and pleasant
Bar staff: efficient. Just one complaint about the ladies collecting glasses who told people off for having more than one alcoholic drink in front of them towards the end of the night. I was finishing one of when my husband arrived with 2 more for us and got told we could only have 1 drink in front of us at a time..I apprciate they don't want people stockpiling drinks , but that was a bit much
All in all I would recommend this hotel, at this time of year , can't comment about when it's full
Location: Quiet and out of the way , great for a chill out hol

Room Tip: Back of block 2, not a pool view, still central but quiet
