We just came back from Setcases where our company had a two days convention.
The food, the family service, all the time checking that we had all we needed, total flexibility, very clean rooms, (do not miss the jacuzzi), the place is really a nice nature destination.
We would like to thank you all of them for their help. Our convention was a success.

we decided to choose this hotel for that special day in our life - our wedding day!!!! What a huge mistake. I agree with all that was said from the other comments about this hotel. The owners of the hotel are nothing but rude, ignorant and do not care one bit about anybody or anything except the money that you give them.

For weeks leading up to our day we had to continually hassle the hotel to be made to feel that we were nothing but a nuisance and they
were the experts so we should just trust them - what a joke!!!!!

We were left with no option but to set up our own dinner table with the favours, flowers etc as they could not be bothered. The ceremony was a table dumped by the pool area with a couple of table decorations on it that us, the guests and the mayor performing the ceremony had to discover ourselves as there was no direction from the owners!!!

The original dinner time was made an hour earlier to when they decided they wanted us to sit, even though it was obvious we were not ready. We were promised wine would be let on the tables yet each guest had one small glass each and that was all. Luckily we had supplied our own cava to keep the guests happy!!!!

The Cake - made and supplied with cake stand (a hotel that does lots of weddings apparently but has no cake stand!!!!) by ourselves with simple instructions left for decoration and service - all happily ignored!!!!

We were promised a room for music and dancing yet on the night told we know nothing!!! when disputed with the hotel we were told the room
would have been an extra cost.

Basically the owners of this hotel tell you one thing to get you to book and then do whatever they feel like, if you try to comment or complain they threaten you with the police claiming you are not going to pay.

I would never recommend this hotel to anybody, not even for a one night stay. The best thing about this hotel is when you leave!!!! Such a shame for such a wonderful, beautiful town.

A well named hotel - the owners are in a business coma completely lacking in any cusomer service acumen. When will hotel owners realise that service is important. After a gruelling hike we arrived pre-booked at Hotel La Coma to see well-kept gardens and attractive balconies. All lost when the owner (?) rudely acknowledged our presence, and dismissively passed us on to another member of staff to show us to a tiny room no. 209 at the back of the hotel overlooking the wood shed and rubbish area.

We were booked in for 2 nights but were told that a balcony room was not available - until we contacted our tour operator. TVs in the room were on the wall at the entrance to the bedroom at a 5'6" height ideal for banging your head. The beds were all tiny singles less than 6'0" long. The rooms were not clean and meal times particularly breakfast were chaotic. For breakfast (v. limited range of food) people were not allowed in the restaurant but had to grab tables scattered around the bar and tv lounge.

Choose another hotel in Setcases is our advice.
