Had to stay here after a mix up with our booking at C'an Arabi. Was expecting to be disappointed as we stayed at C'a Arabi last year but we actually preferred C'an Jaume. It is purpose built and the decor is modern as opposed to C'an Arabi which is more historic and rustic, however we found C'an Jaume great. Our junior suite was superb with huge terrace and jacuzzi bath, all which functioned well (not so at C'an Arabi last year) all very tasteful indeed, we virtually had the very lovely pool area to ourselves, great breakfast taken looking out over orange groves (as most of the hotel does) discreet service (don't expect 5* service but it's adequate) treat it like your home, tea, coffee, cakes and fruit available in abundance all day, gratis. All this a 5 min drive from Ibiza town and clubs - Great! loved it.

We stayed here for a week in mid september. Good location near Ibiza town - about €10 in a cab. Nice pool and good sized spacious rooms. we had bad weather for two days and there is nothing to do, very little inside area, but its the service that lets this place down. On arrival we had to ring the sister hotel to get someone to check us in. The breakfast is good but no one tells you anything so it was two days before we realised we could also order something cooked.
You had to find people to get a drink if you were by the pool. The only place seems to be the little reception office and if the person in there doesn't speak english, as happened on several occasions then you were stumped.
No info in rooms on hotel services. We weren't given the safe code when we checked in and had to ask for it the next day. Reception closes at 10pm and then there is no one at the hotel at all. Shame really. Perhaps the sister hotel can Arabi is better staffed, but neither hotel is cheap and the service here really doesn't merit the price

only 10 mins from Ibiza town (by taxi), a very spacious, remote hotel with luscious rooms, elegant, very comfortable and trendy. Great reception service, good selection of breakfast, and platters & hampers available throughout the day and a quiet, mature clientelle. We had the large spacious pool to ourselves for the two days we were there, which was divine.

Quite expensive but well worth the money if you want to be close to the action!
