We were there passing through on our way to Barbuda for a wedding. Other people going to the wedding ended up in other hotels. We compared notes and Paige Pond was the pick of the crop. Paige Pond was definitely the place to come back to on our way back to Canada. Others booked rooms there for their way out too.
We had 2 "studio"s. Double bed (ah ... more like 1.5 but fairly good quality). TV with satellite. Air conditioning. Phone, alarm clock, good size fridge, hot plate, full sink, plates/bowls, cutlery, kettle, pots/pans. The place was very clean. The odd ant (very very few....don't worry) an ongoing battle for the best of hotels in the tropics.
They will do a breakfast for you if you ask. It was fairly good. They did have an odd fake bacon sliced up .... I think I'd ask them to skip that. Just too strange.
We forgot a night light and shirt on our first stay and we were able to pick them up on our way out. Helpful people.
Another person in our group stayed in one of the "standard" rooms ... nice. A separate 1 bedroom , nicer / real kitchen with more toward a full size stove, living room and space for an extra single bed. Perfect for a family with 1 child.
The "studio" rooms were $55 US per night.
We also rented a van from Big ???? something rental, arranged with the help of Paige Pond. Everything went well but beware of getting the car/van at night and statements like "4 new tires" and fully responsible (1 tire was bald / questionable). Overall probably an Ok to Good car and price but you evolved a mental list of functional things wrong with the vehicle. A person from the rental place met us at the airport for the return of the vehicle, convenient.
