“Peaceful location, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

Located in a walking distance from the sea, equipped with the basic services, served by a friendly staff - this hotel is ideal for a peaceful week on this island.
Why to choose this location? Delicious food on the beach, crystal clear water, no mass tourism, in the evening a coctail by the pool, listening to the silence...
Why not? If you are longing for the noisy clubs in Mykonos city, it's quite far.
Renting a car on the airport is quite handy

“Amazing - superb place to enjoy the Myconian experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2011

My wife and I stayed at Anemoessa for 5 days at the end of June 2011! The hotel has a breathtaking view of the Kalafati beach on the left and a peninsula on the right! The location is fantastic; a spacious plain lays in front, and the hilltop where the hotel is situated is filled with palms, narrow pathways surrounded by lush flowers and bushes, all in perfect harmony with the characteristic Cyclades whitewashed houses!

The hotel's design in modern, yet very welcoming and relaxing at the same time. Rooms are spotless clean, and the service is impecable. There are two lovely ladies running the hotel, and a very amicable staff. They all welcomed us as we entered the hotel; a personalized approach that was noteworthy and remarkable.

Breakfast in the hotel is abundant and diverse. Pandos, the do-it-all guy in the hotel, will serve you promptly and in a friendly manner. In case you chose to have dinner in the hotel (prior notification needed), a menu of 36 Euro per couple (entre - main course - dessert) is prepared and will surely superate any of the pretentious and costly restaurants of Myconos. Anemoessa's forte remains the fact that the price of the hotel, as well as attached services, are affordable and somewhat normal, vis-a-vis the insanely expensive prices all over Myconos!

We also loved the 6 or 7 cats and kittens wondering about the hotel, playful and relaxing (unless you are one of the many Italians that invade the hotel and are afraid of kittens)!

Facing the hotel there is a car/bike rent place, where (bargaining suggested) you can rent a transporting vehicle (a must in Myconos, given the very few taxis in the Island).

We loved the hotel and we are definitely going back next time we drop by in Myconos!

“Very good, quiet and tendance hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2011

We stayed 3 nights and appreciate the simple design of the room, the quiete athmosphere, friendly staff, and very good price for value if u try the menu of the day.
Not to mention changing color pool at night... Or the blasting view overlooking the bay from the sundeck or rooms...
If you look for a quiet, clean and friendly place anemoessa is for u!

“FANTASTIC HOTEL, GREAT CHOICE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2010

We stayed at Anemoessa hotel with my wife and another couple. This was our third year in a row and i have to say that Anemoessa lived well up our expectations. The location is great since it offers relaxation and quiet enviroment away from all the fuss that hotels near Mykonos chora offer. It gives you the opportunity to relax away from all the fuss and when you need it , Mykonos town is only a 10 minute drive. Also it is quite close by car to famous beaches like Elia, Kalo Livadi, Super Paradise. The staff were very helpfull and kind and always willing to help us with everything. The hotel owner even helped us book sunbends in famoun beaches and gave us great tips for places to eat fresh fish
( booked us a table also). The rooms are spacious and the view to the sea is spectacular. The pool area is also very nice with fantastic view to the sea. The hotel also offers parking space. A plus is the food which was great too. All in i would definitely recomend it to everyone.
