we just came back last week there were 9 of us 5 adults/teens and 4 kids 8-13 yrs, the staff were lovely and always helpful, the rooms we had were great and cleaned almost every day with fresh towels. Note to the hotel the rooms could do with a kettle and some cups for tea/coffee making as i did miss this but reception gave me a kettle and cups so no complaint there. The negatives were that there were wasps which are annoying but never stung any of our party, there are also alot of cats again this was not an issue with us as they only wanted scraps from the restaurant and maybe a stroke( very friendly cats not like our wild cats lol) the water park was excellent and we loved all of it, the beaches that the hotel offers a free bus service to are beautiful Glafidiya was stunning!! the food was great some days and a bit repetitive others but there was always lovely salad and potatoes, the bread is hard but that is how it is out there, the entertainment crew went above and beyond day and evening. If you want an honest opinion from a hard working parent then this holiday ticks all my boxes for little ones and teenagers/adults alike i hope you enjoy it as much as we did. please have a look at the photos if i can upload them.

Went to Aqualand resort with family 7th Oct till 21st Oct. Place stank of sewerage and wasps everywhere. Food was disgusting and only luke warm, and family member had terrible sickness. Animation team ok, but didnt work Thursdays which meant nothing to entertain kids. Waterpark ok, until a snake was found there, and slides dirty and not all open. Wave pool was ok, until they lowered waves. Kids pool too small and shallow, and big pool way to deep in shallow end for kids, and too cold, could not go in in last week there. Staff friendly. All inclusive drinks were ok, but stopped at 11pm. Nothing outside of the resort at all. Toilets by the pool were too small and doors could not shut. Wish only booked one week as that would have been bearable, but too weeks dragged and couldnt wait to get home. Rooms spacious and cleaned daily. Corfu town and beach lovely, but nothing at beach open in second week.

we went to aqualand on 26th sept 2011 for 2 weeks with my wife 17 yr daughter and 12 yr old son, first the good points the appartments were very nice and clean and the complex was kept very clean. the staff were also very nice. the waterpark was amazing too. the animation team did there best with the entertainment. now the bad points the food was awfull just warmed up slops from the day before, never very hot and served on cold plates. the entertainment for the evening would be nice to bring someone in from the outside ocasional instead of the animation team playing stupid games. outside the complex there was nothing only a chemist and a small grocery shop (that i called awkwrights out of open all hours because it was so small and sold everything) you had to rely on the free bus to corfu town for any decent shopping but even then it left at 10am and returned at 2.30pm. the sewage smell was awfull too at times. the wasps were a nuicence too apparently its because its the wine making season. anyway will not be returning been on much better all-inclusive

we arrived at aqualand on mon 26th sept 2011 and left on mon 7th oct and all had a fab time myself my son 14 my daughter 11 my sister and her daughter 3 . every where is spotlessly clean but the smell of the sewers is awful sometimes unbearable for me as i have a weak stomach where smells are concerned!!! i would definately recommend that you take a can of fly spray with you as the flies and wasps were a nightmare we even used it around the pool . the room we were in was very nice it had a fridge freezer which was handy as we took a load of ice pops with us incase we had one so make sure you take some when you go . the animation team were fab always making a fuss of the little ones which was good as we had a little time out from our demanding 3 yr old . the food was ok !! you wouldnt starve anyway my 11 yr old only ate chips and toast for the 12 days as she is very fussy but the other 2 had a go at everything . the bar staff were nice and everyone spoke really good english i felt that the waiters waitresses and maids were all unsung heros they worked very hard and long hours to the point i felt abit guilty letting them do everything . the aqua park was amazing no queing up at all the few days we went . . . the only down side really was there wasnt much for the older 2 to do in the evenings so would recommend to take the ds for them to use aswell as some puzzle books like we did whichwere a god send really . the mini market was so expensive we spent a fortune all in all around a grand with a few day trips a trip to the doc which cost 50 euro and 20 euro for the prescription. we would love to go back but hope they sort the smell out soon .
