we went to aqualand on 26th sept 2011 for 2 weeks with my wife 17 yr daughter and 12 yr old son, first the good points the appartments were very nice and clean and the complex was kept very clean. the staff were also very nice. the waterpark was amazing too. the animation team did there best with the entertainment. now the bad points the food was awfull just warmed up slops from the day before, never very hot and served on cold plates. the entertainment for the evening would be nice to bring someone in from the outside ocasional instead of the animation team playing stupid games. outside the complex there was nothing only a chemist and a small grocery shop (that i called awkwrights out of open all hours because it was so small and sold everything) you had to rely on the free bus to corfu town for any decent shopping but even then it left at 10am and returned at 2.30pm. the sewage smell was awfull too at times. the wasps were a nuicence too apparently its because its the wine making season. anyway will not be returning been on much better all-inclusive

we arrived at aqualand on mon 26th sept 2011 and left on mon 7th oct and all had a fab time myself my son 14 my daughter 11 my sister and her daughter 3 . every where is spotlessly clean but the smell of the sewers is awful sometimes unbearable for me as i have a weak stomach where smells are concerned!!! i would definately recommend that you take a can of fly spray with you as the flies and wasps were a nightmare we even used it around the pool . the room we were in was very nice it had a fridge freezer which was handy as we took a load of ice pops with us incase we had one so make sure you take some when you go . the animation team were fab always making a fuss of the little ones which was good as we had a little time out from our demanding 3 yr old . the food was ok !! you wouldnt starve anyway my 11 yr old only ate chips and toast for the 12 days as she is very fussy but the other 2 had a go at everything . the bar staff were nice and everyone spoke really good english i felt that the waiters waitresses and maids were all unsung heros they worked very hard and long hours to the point i felt abit guilty letting them do everything . the aqua park was amazing no queing up at all the few days we went . . . the only down side really was there wasnt much for the older 2 to do in the evenings so would recommend to take the ds for them to use aswell as some puzzle books like we did whichwere a god send really . the mini market was so expensive we spent a fortune all in all around a grand with a few day trips a trip to the doc which cost 50 euro and 20 euro for the prescription. we would love to go back but hope they sort the smell out soon .

Went to aqualand from 23rd september until 7th october and the sun shone every day.Its a lovely place,kept very clean and tidy and the entertainers and bar staff are all lovely.I would love to go again as the kids loved it and the wave pool was great.However i would be lying if i said it was all brilliant.The dining room was constantly crawling with flies and wasps,all over you and your food while you were eating,i feel they could close the doors and have air conditioning on and get fly zappers or something in.If flies crawled all over a buffet resteraunt here it would get closed down.The food was pleasant but extremely repetative.My biggest complaint is the fact that the entertainment was all finished and over with before the pubs in england and that when the entertainers have their day off on a thursday they dont get alternative entertainment in there is just nothing.I never go out on a night at home,but when i am on holiday i expect to go out and have fun with my family every night until what ever time we like,which isnt between 10.30 and 11.00pm.I also think they should have atleast one entertainer who can actually sing as all they did was mime to someone elses voice and were quite happy to admit none of them could sing.dont get me wrong,they were lovely friendly people,i especially like tony,the faces he pulls are just classic and mimi was really lovely,they all were,i just think they need more entertainers to work more hours.i would love to take the kids back one day,but who knows.we will see.

I have just got back my holiday at Aqualand resort. I must say its one of the best holidays me and my friends and kids have had, the kids aged 5 and 7. the rooms were very big and cleaned everyday but a sunday. The staff were very helpful and spoke great english nothing was to much trouble lovely people.

The pool was great loads of sunbeds and that was cleaned every night too. After breakfast they had snacks like salad and toasties, after dinner it was toasties and ice cream which you can help yourself to, so you dont feel like your asking someone all the time. At the pool bar you can help yourself to coke, lemonade, tea, coffee and water which was great for the kids.

The best thing about this holiday was the animation team they were amazing and so funny. they would come around at 10am take the kids to play games, face painting, t-shirt painting and loads of other things they did through out day. They also tried to get the adults up playing games to like darts, diving for spoons, cocktail games and waterpolo, but if you didnt want to play they wouldn't hassell you at all. the only downside was the wasps but this can not be put down to the hotel because everywhere we went in crofu was the same, I spoke to a few people in different hotels and they said wasps were a pain. overall a BRILLIANT holiday and I cant wait to go back next year x
