This hotel is much smaller than we have become used to in recent years and it was a pleasure to stay there. I don't think the hotel was full while we were there, but although we saw other guests each day, it always appeared quiet, relaxed and civilised. The staff obviously really care about their guests and you are treated as an individual rather than 'just another guest', however they are never obtrusive - just there in the background if you need help of any sort, or suggestions about where to go that day etc. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is quite brightly decorated but in a tasteful way. The rooms aren't terribly big, but big enough and very comfortable with stunning views (my only slight negative is that I personally could have done with a little more storage and hanging space for clothing etc). The bathroom (and separate toilet) clean and modern with good shower and bath.
Breakfast was lovely - continental style buffet with plenty of choice available.
We ate dinner in the restaurant on the first night, but unfortunately it was a little more expensive than we expected so we tried out other restaurants in the area after that. Having said that, the food was excellent with great attention to detail with regards to presentation etc.
We would certainly recommend this hotel, and are very pleased we found it. A stunning area to visit too.
