I booked this hotel for my late birthday celebration for Sat/28th Jan/12.,for myself,my two brothers & our respective families,17 of us on the night,for a meal,with half of us staying over the night with breakfast included.All of this was arranged brilliantly by staff member Ryan Power,& our allocated waiter Josh,who was not only efficient,but friendly with a nice personallity.Although the family are generally easy-going,none of us are shy in speaking out if there is anything we are not happy with,but on the whole the meal,the rooms the breakfast,the service (inluding the bar staff) was excellent,so thank you Ryan,Josh & all the bar staff,for a memorable week-end.Regards Mr.R.J.Pearce.

I regularly use the Greswolde (and have for over a year now) as I work two to three days a week near the NEC. I've tried the 'big chain' hotels and am not impressed with their faceless, impersonal service and over inflated charges applied 'because they can'. The Greswolde is situated in the lovely village of Knowle. There is ample free car parking for residents, the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean, comfortable and airy. The food is also excellent, although the menu could do with updating despite specials being on offer. If you don't want to eat here the village has a good variety of other restauarants to choose from. The bar is frequented by guests and locals alike, and there is always a warm friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it and intend staying there for the foreseeable future.

we pre booked our family Xmas Day Lunch a table of 11. To say that we were disappointed is understated for Xmas Lunch that cost £55 a head was poor both food & service. It seemed that they had booked too many people in and couldnt cope. Was supposed to be hand carved turkey, but the 2 little bits i had were like boil in the bag!! And which tastied like frozen roasters. Very very disappointing

I was working in the area and needed somewhere to stay for one night. My single room was a very good size, had a 3/4 bed, a good-sized en-suite and was generally clean and tidy. I ate very early in the restaurant and had food which was extremely good value for money. I also sampled their 'light bites breakfast' which was similarly good value. All the staff were helpful and attentive. I would stay here again if I was working in the area.
