Aftrer looking at some of the previous reviews I'd like to add. There is champagne in the room if you book online and very welcoming. My son asked about the internet and got a free login and I was also able to use it for my laptop. The rooms can be hot but depending where it is located it can be cool if it does not face the afternoon sun. We stayed here on two different occassions. The evening menu I personally thought for the standard of meal was very good. 25€ for either a starter and main or main/dessert. It become a lot more expensive if you decided on 3 courses €42. The wine list was pretty much the same as most 4* hotels varying from middle of the range to expensive €20 upwards. The staff were excellent and could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. The spa facilites are new and therefore very good. We used it as a stop over but the experience added to the holiday and we would definantly go again and recommend it.

Chateau Saint Just is a lovely hotel in fantastic surroundings, good standard of accommodation...but not mentioned on the website that not very accessible via walking (1.2km from nearest train station Bornel Belle-Eglise), this is an uphill walk with very rough paths and not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties, the hotel don't offer any form of transfer from the station and cost of a taxi is 16euro (very excessive but French taxi firms charge you from where they have to travel from). We emailed hotel before arrival to arrange a taxi which they forgot to do so was a very long walk with luggage which have ruined my suitcase.

Village location is 40mins by train from Paris Gran De Norde station we travelled by Eurostar and no need to change stations.

Restaurant offers a set menu with 2 courses costing 25.50 Euro's drinks etc very expensive 3.50euro for an espresso and 7euro for a bottle of water. unfortunaltey ordered meat to be cooked medium to well done and well done both dishes arrived seriously under cooked had to sent back to kitchen no apology provided.

Not regular bar opening times and staff not easy to locate.

Spa facilities included in the price (Swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi and steam room) clean but we stay oveder the weekend and found that the towels very not collected and sent to laundry making it very messy.

This was my first trip to Paris and ended up being more stressfull and the relaxing break that we had planned.

Spent two nights here, very pleasant hotel, the rooms are all in the modern part of the building but have pleasant and quiet outlook. Mainly tailored to meetings and events but service was friendly, staff very helpful and recommendation of a nearby restaurant was great. Breakfast is good, dinner at the hotel was very nice.

No AC in the hot summer months is a bit unusual for such a modern and seemingly well equipped premises. The promised fan never appeared (they ran out!) and we were faced by the choice between being boiled and listening to the chorus of some extremely loud frogs all night! Windows shut, boil, windows open, frogs. We basically alternated between the two but sleep was somewhat sporadic.

I would recommend this hotel autumn to spring, but in the summer I would give it a miss if you want to sleep comfortably.

I would like to correct some previous reviews. The hotel is 40 mins by train from Paris and it is by no means a 10 mins walk from the station at belle eglise as someone suggested earlier. The best way to get to the hotel by train is from Gare du nord, buy a ticket to belle eglise which is 15 euros return, 7.50 one way. I would advice you call the hotel from the train station and give them your arrival time and they will arrange a taxi to pick you up for about 12 euros.
Go to this hotel if you want a nice and quiet place to relax away from Paris. Rooms are comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was great. But its a shame that internet in the room is not free.
