“Heavenly retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We visited this wonderful place a couple of years ago for tea & then went back for lunch.
The staff were so helpful & the hotel so lovely we decided that we would go back and stay there at some point.
Our love of the place has grown even more and we would go back there again. It is what I would describe as one of life’s treats and the winter offer which included dinner for each night stayed did make it a little more affordable. Having said that the hotel was full on a Saturday in mid-January so they must be getting it right.
I can only describe it as an old country manor house (or hunting lodge for the wealthy as it was) with a restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the gardens are of equal quality to national trust gardens we have visited.
The dinners were scrumptious and the breakfasts were as good. We will be saving our pennies to make a return visit.

Unique, very private and comfortable. They have built up a gem of a secluded hotel. O.Polizzi design and taste is very special, everywhere has space, nothing cramped. Good staff and very clean. Long may this retreat survive!

“An amazing Christmas”

We've stayed here a couple of times but decided to give Christmas ago.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Endsleigh delivered an outstanding Christmas. Great staff and wonderful food.

We have a 20 month old who was also made to feel very welcome.

We've booked for next year!

My only moan would be not having housekeeping staff in on Christmas day?

Room Tip: Room 8 - good size and view
