A great little b&b in Topsham, nr Exeter, just the 2 bedrooms (with shared bathroom) on the top floor of a lovely Victorian house, stuffed full of character. Bedrooms are comfortable with tea making facilities and great value for a b&b. Our hosts Ian and Jane couldn't be more welcoming and are very hospitable. Breakfasts are wonderfuI and Ian cooks a mean Jamie Oliver pancake in the morning. There is also plenty of choice of fresh fruit, cereals, cooked breakfasts, the aforementioned pancakes, homemade marmalade (recommended) for breakfast which is taken in their lovely, large kitchen overlooking the garden. If you ask, Ian will also take you out in his side car attached to his 50s motorbike and whisk you round Topsham which is great fun.
Fab location next to train station, so you can just leave the car for the weekend and head into Exeter and go cycling along the canals or catch the train to Exmouth. Would recommend Marcello's Restaurant in Topsham, great little Italian and also catching the ferry to Turf Locks pub and having a pub meal with great views over the estuary.
Although they don't have their own website you can find No 7's details on the Topsham town website. Would definitely recommend.
