I stayed here back in my grad student days of trying to save money. When I discovered we could stay here for less than $50 per night, I was excited. That didn't last long. As others have mentioned, this place has not been updated in over 30 years. Our bathtub did not drain, there was mold and mildew everywhere in the bathroom (which was attractively done in shades of brown and yellow). We had booked a "king" room, but there was a a king-sized mattress on top of a double-sized box springs and platform. Thus, you could not sleep on the edges of the bed, or you would slowly roll off onto the floor!
The "continental breakfast" consisted of some stale donuts. The outdoor pool was too cold to use (even in September - and it was warm). The indoor pool was so highly chlorinated (which we could discover from opening the door) that we didn't dare get in. The hot tub was being used by trashy families allowing their non-toilet trained, diaper wearing children to "swim" in it, while they smoked.
A filthy, disgusting motel. It isn't worth it to save a few bucks. Also, I tried to book through Orbitz, and secured a rate of like $29. When I arrived, they decided they wouldn't honor it, and charged us about $50. This was scammy.
