I'll start this by saying that I am a gold Priority Club member and frequently stay at Holday Inn's, Intercontinentals, etc all over the world.
I have stayed at this location several times for business and family travel. It is clean and located close to downtown and the airport. Unfortunately that is where the good news ends.
Three visits in a row in 2011-12 my reservations have had "unexpected technical difficulties with the reservation system". I always book a suite...and for the third straight time did not receive the room I booked. Most recently (Feb 2012), I booked the "feature suite". This reservation was booked in OCTOBER 2011. When I arrived at the hotel with my family, we were uncerimoniously told that the room was given to someone else and thats it. No explanation..only a brief "sorry" when I pushed back on the front desk attendant. They then proceded to give us another, less expensive suite and tried to give it to us for the same cost! After 10 minutes of explaining that I had already PRE-PAID for the MOST EXPENSIVE room in the hotel and that it didn't make sense to pay the same for a smaller room, he simply offered to send us to another hotel to get rid of us. Good news for them....we WILL go to another hotel next time. I urge you to do the same. These people think they're doing you a favor by taking your money and couldn't care less about your business.
