Nice clean place. Front desk staff not very friendly. I ate at the restraunt and thought the service was good and food was good too.

2nd time staying at this nice hotel. It is centrally located in downtown Regina and is very easily accessable. It is also close to all the downtown government buildings and right accross the street from the casino. The hotel is very nice and fairly new. You have a choice of garage parking for a small fee or in a lot. The hotel and rooms are very clean and rooms are very spacious. The single king bed room is very comfortable and has lots or room in it. We stay with an olympic junior shooting team and are treated extremely well. They have a very well laid out hot breakfast and a small store on site for confections and ammenities. The rooms are nicely done with good tv, internet, fridge, microwave and cordless phone. The only small misgiving is if you get a room on the Broad Street side of the hotel the traffic is a bit noisy. In room coffee and tea was nice. For sure we will stay here again.

We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Regina while on business for a one night stay. Room was immaculate, well decorated, comfortable bed and pillows (that's a definite plus!). Hot breakfast in the morning and a VERY reasonable rate. Close to casino (not for me but some would consider that a bonus) and a couple of blocks from a major shopping mall. We will definitely stay again. Also like being able to collect reward points for this hotel.

I'm a huge fan of Wingate hotels, they always seem to be nice and new. This one was as nice as any that I've been in and was in a great location in downtown Regina.

On my way to Edmonton, AB I picked Regina as a stopping point. I had never been there before but I'd like to go back with more time to visit. This Wingate was as nice a hotel as I've been at. I was on the 4th floor and the room was whisper quiet as most (all?) Wingates are. It was also super clean and had everything I need and expect from Wingate: a big, clean bathroom with nice, thick towels and a hair dryer, a super comfortable bed with crisp linens and a big TV with good cable channels, and great wireless service. I didn't notice any noise from adjacent rooms or street noise. They had parking in a little lot by the building or in an adjacent parking ramp. The breakfast was great with hot items in addition to their usual cereals, breads, oatmeal, fruit, etc. There are lots of restaurants close by and a casino right next door if you're into such things.

The front desk folks were as nice as can be and the lobby area was spotless as well. I didn't have any problems with the dreaded "b-b" issue that one other traveler mentioned and that could literally be in just one room from some unfortunate person that unknowingly transferred them from his/her luggage from some other hotel. I'm guessing that the Wingate folks do NOT want anything associated with that in their hotels so they'll get rid of anything like that in a hurry so their reputation isn't tarnished. I would definitely stay here again.
