Have stayed here for years due to the convenience - close to things we are in Moose Jaw for. But over the last couple of years it was starting to become grubby looking and not all that clean.
Price was okay though.
I would be interested to try it again - only if it has been renovated and cleaned up a bit. It really needed some updates - carpet was really dirty last time we were there.
The other reviews stating that a damage deposit is being requested would definitely turn me off.

We booked our reservation in advance. Didn't want to stay in a typical hotel room on the way back from Edmonton to Winnipeg. The family rate of $80/night is reasonable.

Its nice to have a kitchenette so you don't have to go out and eat.

I wasn't impressed that after paying fully for my room that they wanted a $200 damage deposit .

Seems to be a popular place for rv's and overnight camping. The indoor waterslide is decent and quite enjoyable.

Minature golf course is pretty nice. The restaurant has good home cooked meals at a reasonable price.

They have "Friday night frenzy" where all concessions are half price. The girl at one stand said she had no nachos. Well when I want nachos I get nachos. I went to the office and after complaining the manager got some bags of nachos from the pool stand

There is a Tim Horton's accross the street.

It would be tough not to stay there again. Not bad at all

I have booked at this motel complex every time I have gone to Moose Jaw (12 times since 2000). Every time, I have been treated with the greatest respect. Have never been asked for a damage deposit. Have never had to have them check anything when I leave. In fact, they have, on their dime, sent me items I forgot there, expediated post as I needed the items for work. I find the cleaning staff willing to bend over backwards to help in any way they can, whether directions, advise, or extra coffee or equipment for the room. No problems ever. Great place to stay, with or without children. Beds extremely comfortable! Water slides are great.

We went to Moose Jaw for a getaway weekend to go to the casino, do some shopping and just relax.
I phoned ahead to book a room for 2 nights at the Prairie Oasis. Yes they had a kitchenette, available for 2 nights. Great. When I went to register, I had to give my driver's license, car plate ok, thats normal answer the questions, like how many people in the room all normal questions, no problem. I paid for the room with a debit card, then was asked for cash$100.00 damage deposit. They dont say anything until you are there and booked in about this deposit. So OK I paid the deposit got the keys and went to the room.
Fast forward to check out. Had to phone the office, tell them we are ready to leave, they send someone down counts everything, makes sure we didnt take anything that belonged to them. OK. Got my deposit back went shopping then headed home. When I got home there is a nasty message on my home phone, timed 5 minutes after check out, we live 1 hour and a 1/2 away, accusing me of stealing, by not paying for the room. I had my reciepts saying I had paid. but this manager is very rude doesnt apologize for her mistake nothing. I would rather sleep in the ditch than give this place another dime. The staff needs some PR training and to learn to treat their customers better
