“Clean, good value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

Our Family of 4 stayed here for $127.94. The room was larger than the Quality Inn we stayed at the previous night, but did not have a microwave or fridge. The rooms are accessible from the parking lot via the patio door in your room so you can drive your car right up to the door. There are also interior corridors. Bourque St is the same as King St West, so it is a busy 4 lane street, with car dealers etc. The hotel has a continental , (very basic, cereal, oranges, toast) breakfast which is served in the lobby, with no where to sit. Apparently, you can take the breakfast back to your room, however they did not tell us this until after we had signed out, so we ate in the car. A little more expensive than the Quality Inn, but rooms were larger and hotel was brighter and you got breakfast.

“Average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

Stayed at this hotel a couple of times but this time I got charge $3.14 on my credit card which I was told was for a bottle of water. I did not see any water in the room when I checked in so that was a surprise. When I disputed the charge, I was told "guests always take the water". Just got to be careful with checking your credit card statements. Other than that, the stay was OK - air conditioner is always too noisy. Value for price.

“Ok for the price”

I was at this hotel when I first moved from New-Brunswick. I have no complaint. You get what you pay for.

Ther ooms are clean, the staff is amazing. No issue in the hotel.

“Reasonable hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2006

We stayed two nights of a touring holiday.
The hotel (just uses the Comfort Inn, Sherbrooke name) is a little further out of town than most of the hotels, but not too far.
Checkin was OK, but then we had the stairs - the hotel is two storey, with only stairs. The room itself was clean and reasonably-sized - there was even a grille so we could have the window open instead of being deafened by the air-conditioner (why are most hotel units so noisy?). The curtain linings had an interesting holey pattern which let the light stream through.
There was a reasonable included continental breakfast (to be eaten in the room). There was only full-strength coffee in the room and reception couldn't provide decaff.
Anoyingly this was one of those hotels where the key-card doesn't work when you get back to your room on the second day - we find this infuriating, particularly after the stairs - having to go down to reception & back to get into the room.
Overall adequate.
