Booked via the Auberge Gouverneur.
The first thing that strikes me is the 4 star rating...my expectations are high. After check in, we are director to the executive suite, second floor. Its not dirty but there are some renovations underway. We enter the room, a rather drab Holiday Inn Style room, 2.5 to 3 star, no more!
The decor is dated, the room is clean. The sofa is tired. The bed is rather hard. The bathroom is clean but again, no pressure.
There is a an inside and outisde pool, a jacuzzi, and free access to an outside gym. Parking is free and the hotel is less than a block from 5 restaurants. The view gives on the St-Maurice river.
Overall, not bad but not a 4 star.
PS Call the hotel directly, they have specials whihc the main central will not have. They had a 60$ special for a small room....darned.

Stayed there one night. Average rooms with average furniture but very clean. Small pool and was overcrowded when I stayed there... Nice and friendly service. Very nice location just facing the river. On-site restaurant is very good. We had the buffet and food was awesome. I would probably stay there again.
