“Very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

The hotel was great, very clean, room is big too. There are some noisy in the morning, I guess it's because our room is right next to the stair. No elevator, it's okay for us since we don't have any luggage. The location is quite good if you have a car, close to everywhere (city, the fall, food...). We had a very enjoyable weekend.

“Great condo near Quebec City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

We stayed in the apartment/condo in the Auberge du Littoral for 4 nights. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The condo is spacious and well decorated, only drawback is some highway noise when you open the doors to the balcony. It was 7 km from Vieux Quebec, but as we were cycling throughout the surrounding areas most of the time, this was not an issue for us.
We tried to book another 4 nights in March 2012 but were advised that this condo is fully booked to September 2012; however, they will likely add some other condos nearby to their inventory, which could be worth considering if comparable to the quality/value combination of this unit.

Thanks a lot for your beautiful comments! You're right; there is the highway 440 near the condo. It is not a busy highway at all, so during the night, the noise supposed to be all right! But, just after the highway, there are the St. Lawrence River and Old Quebec. So, the view is amazing! Thanks again and see you probably next year! Sincerely yours.

“Nice place, but overrated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

Stay here one night in the "new" hotel section on the third floor. Room was OK, really nothing special. No elevator in the building was a downside if you are carrying a load of luggage. Hotel is close to ILe de Orleans and Montmorency Falls. A few eateries nearby. No continental breakfast included in room rate (extra $7 pp for breakfast which includes coffee, bread, fruit).

I would not stay here again. There are better (and less expensive) hotel choices which can be found in St. Foy area located near the airport.

Room Tip: Make sure you are on a lower floor in the new building. The older section of hotel features two stor...

Thanks for your comments! There are more details about your reviews and comments:
- Elevator: You're right, there is no elevator. But, it is always possible to request an assistance for free at the lobby. Our team will help you with your luggage with a pleasure.
- Restaurant nearby: You're right, there are 10 restaurants on the same street of our inn (10 minutes walk, 1 minute drive).
- Breakfast: You're right to say that the breakfast is $7. But, there are 5 plate choices (not just bread): 1) Cereals, yogurt & croissant, 2) Cereals, milk & muffin, 3) Bagels & cream cheese, 4) Toast & cheddar cheese, and 5) Croissant, muffin & yogurt. All the breakfast includes a tea or coffee, an orange or apple juice, fruits and apple butter.
- Location: This is right to say that we are next to Montmorency Falls and Orléans Island. In fact, we are between those attractions and Old Quebec.
Thanks again for the time that you had take to write your reviews. I hope you had enjoyed your stay in Quebec city! Sincerely.

“Wonderful apartment with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

We spent 4 nights in the fully equipped large one bedroom apartment. The kitchen was important because of health issues we need to prepare most of our own food. Easy access to nearby market. I was worried about staying outside of the city but the hotel staff gave us clear directions to the parking in the city which is an easy 10 minute drive. The Ile d’Orleans is close by and the drive to St. Anne-de-Beaupre was great.

“Very nice hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

This is a perfect hotel if you are traveling by car: not as expensive as downtown hotels, with very clean, big size rooms (I stayed in a contemporary room, located inside the hotel, not in the motel)
Very friendly and helpful staff.
There is a nice family restaurant nearby (Normandin) for breakfast and a very nice one for dinner: Casa Grecque, with very good seafood dishes. You may take your own bottle of wine
