unfortunately, the previous reviewer was right, this is only a place to go if you cannot find anywhere else, let`s say at the last minute.
No fresh bakeries, all store bought and dry.
No fruit or cheese or chocolat.
The breakfast served in the room is a nice touch but it was of poor quality.
For a couple from Paris , they should know the difference between a good and terrible croissant , the coffee, poor quality.
Since the half of a bed and breakfast is the breakfast , I give this place 50 out of 100.
The rooms are clean and functionnal, the river view inexistant.
The back balconies are nice.

We picked this B & B because we were traveling with bicycles and it provided secure storage. We were not disappointed. Jean Luc was a friendly and efficient host who spoke English well. Our room was quite comfortable and very clean, with a small bathroom and a great balcony facing the wooded hill behind the house. The room was air conditioned, but we didn't need it. We were served a delicious breakfast of homemade pastries and fruit each morning on our balcony.

The B & B is about a 30 minute walk from the Old City, although only about 10-15 minutes from the Plains of Abraham if you don't mind climbing steps! There is also a bus which runs along the boulevard. The location is right along the river, and there isn't much right there except marinas, but we did enjoy the biking/walking trail that runs in front.

We would certainly stay here again.
