My husband and I decided to take our two children to Quebec City for a three night stay at the end of the summer. We had never been, and were relying on different sites (including Tripadvisor) to figure out where to stay. Ultimately, we decided to stay at the Saint-Anne--even though there were some negative reviews on this site. We knew that the rooms would not be terribly large, so we decided to opt for two rooms, which worked out great. My husband and I had a very nice room with a brick wall. We were on the 2nd floor and we did face the street (which was nice). Our children stayed across the hall in a pretty spacious room with two double beds--their room did face a wall, but it was comfortable and clean.
The location just could not be more perfect, and even though you can walk to everything in Quebec, it really feels special to be on this particular street, with its cobblestones, street performers, artisans, restaurants and all right in front of the Chateau Frontenac. It was awesome!
A wonderful breakfast IS included--eggs, fruit, yogurt, croissants--generous portions and good service. The people who work in the hotel are friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience and we thought the price was quite reasonable for Quebec. We would definitely go back.
