Spent one night as a couple on a romantic getaway. My wife enjoyed 1 1/2 hours at the spa, which according to her was fine but service was not great. Had a renovated room overlooking the lake. Room and bed were very comfortable but a bit dark View was nice but not grand as we were on the ground floor. This is a dated hotel with some charm but inconsistent service. We do not recommend ever you should include a meal at their "dining room" in your package. This was a nightmare: 35 minutes seated before we were acknowledged other than by a "water boy", only 2 waitresses for about 120 patrons, every dish came cold, wine list minimalist and plain wines were overpriced. We were told that the 2 wedding receptions at the hotel meant that most of the staff was working there instead of the dining room. The wedding partys made the place crowded and noisy. We don't recommend and would not go back. Stay in Old Quebec instead and get to enjoy some of the best cuisine and hospitality in Canada.
