I'll admit it wasn't the best hotel we've ever stayed in, The rooms were clean but there were a few small repairs that could have been made. The beds were comfortable but nothing amazing. But for the price, you're getting a nice room right in the heart of Quebec city right next door to the Chateau Frontenac! The staff was very nice and spoke English very well. Some small complaints we had were that the street lights coming in the window were a bit bright, and here was some noise from the rooms upstairs but only until around 10:30. Another interesting thing they did is they don't provide a continental breakfast. Instead they provide a $5 gift certificate to L'Omlette, a small restaurant around the corner that specializes in breakfasts. This is good because for a bout $5 you can get a continental breakfast, but if you want to spend a bit more (like us) you can get any kind of breakfast you want. A final thing to keep in mind is parking. Like most places within the walls of Quebec, they don't have on site parking. They give you two options first is the Chateau Frontenac parking, which is right next door, but costs $32 or 24hrs parking. The other option, which we chose, is city hall parking, its about 4 blocks away, but is only $12 for 24hrs.
All in all, an enjoyable stay.
