Very friendly and helpful to out-of-town travelers, this hotel is situated in perfect placement on the cobblestone streets of Old Quebec. Near lots of great restaurants and walking distance to the Convention center. Also, if you are looking for top restaurants away from the tourist areas - you can walk about 15 min both downtown (downhill) or further west on St. Jean. Rooms were clean and large.

I saw some negative reviews of this hotel so I had to just say that we thought it was great. The room was huge with a living room space separate from the bedroom. Mind you, we were in a tour group and bought the package tour, so I can't speak to the value of its pricing. The elevators took a while at times, but usually we used the stairs to the fifth floor anyway. We didn't need service or help from the concierge, but I heard good things from fellow travelers about them. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a lousy view, but except for two hotels in England on another tour, we ALWAYS have terrible views from our rooms. In New York City we once had TWO brick walls outside our window. What can I say - we don't spend much time in them so we don't sweat it. But any way, this hotel was fine and I would stay there again if the price didn't shock me out of it.

I recently traveled here with my 3 teenage daughters and we had a great time! The rooms are big (ask for the newly renovated rooms) and the staff is very very friendly and helpful. There are many great restaurants close to the hotel - don't waste your time or money eating at the hotel when there are so many other great options. The spa is outstanding, we loved Marie! We had facials and pedicures -- very nice! Bernard at the front desk is a sweet man and gave great restaurant recommendations.

This is an older hotel perfectly situated in the Old Quebec. The refurbishments have kept pace with the times, maintaining an excellent balance between old & new. Like being in a grand hotel from 50 years ago but with a nice salt water pool , massage & workout room. It is a 10 min walk to the St Lawrence River and Old Town with all its tremendous shops, restaurants, etc.

The rooms were maintained very well & the sleeps were excellent. Breakfasts were tasty, reasonably priced & well attended. The hotel staff were very helpful & courteous at all times, which is a big bonus.
