We stayed here for 2 nights in late August 2009 as part of a roadtrip. This hotel is located in a residential area on the north side of the St. Lawrence river and about a 10 minute drive into Vieux Quebec. The location is on a busy, more commercial road, which felt a bit unsafe at night. The hotel itself is quite nice, with a small breakfast area off the lobby. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was completely booked. Our room was a good size with a small pullout couch. The bathroom was very clean. There was free wireless internet in the room. We paid $122CAD per night and though it was a good value.

We stayed in this hotel 2 times. We liked it there both times. People at the reception were nice and friendly. Breakfast was OK. This location was very good for us since we wanted to visit Canyon Ste. Anne. Also very close to downtown.

We enjoyed our recent 4 night stay at this Comfort Inn located in Beauport. The room was clean, new and the bathroom had a deep tub which is unusual for an economy hotel. The beds were reasonably comfortable and hotel was quiet when we were there (October). The hotel was a good value (accepting AAA discount) and the location was great for getting into Quebec city or exploring the countryside. We took the special 400th anniversary shuttle from the nearby Parc-O-Bus lot on d'Estimauville Rue into the historic parts of the city. Unfortunately this shuttle stops running October 13th. The is also a public bus (RTC) located 2 blocks from the hotel -- ask at the front desk. Things the hotel includes: free wireless internet, a free continental breakfast (muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs, juice, fruit) in a small breakfast room. A couple of casual restaurant chains located within walking distance of the hotel: Normandin, Chez Cora, St. Hubert, plus other fast food chains. The location was excellent for a day trip to Montmorency Falls or Ile d'Orleans. It was a short, easy drive to both these places versus staying in downtown Quebec city.

We stayed in 8 different hotels during this trip. This one I would say was the low and also 1 of 2 that we would stay in for 2 nights. Considering that it is so close to the center of Quebec City we had plenty of things to do besides be in the hotel. It really was fine for sleeping in. It was clean enough, but no extras. No pool, no refrig. or microwave. It sits parallel to the freeway, so it is not in a quiet secluded setting. The neighborhood itself is not a place that you would want to stroll in. If you are looking for a place to store your things and sleep this will work.
