We spent two nights here recently and loved our room. Perfect location in Old Town, close to everything, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room in the back which was very comfortable.
The last morning, I forgot to pack the top drawer which had clothes, etc and didn't realize this until the next morning. My boyfriend called the hotel several times to ask about finding my things and sending them to me and the hotel responded well. Matthew took care of it very nicely and my clothes were sent to me promptly. Great service. We will return.

The whole experience at this hotel was memorable. The location, the service, the incredible food at the 1640 restaurant, the soothing saxophone sounds drifting in to our room at night from the busker outside. Being in the heart of the old city of Quebec was amazing. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly

We booked two rooms on very short notice. When we arrived we were concerned about unloading
our luggage and parking. We double parked the car and went up the stairs to the reception desk. Matthew at the front desk was extremely helpful, carried our luggage up the stairs and directed
us to the parking lot.

Matthew was just terrific, professional friendly and very accommodating with all our requests
and needs. He recommended various sightseeing activities and restaurants.

While our rooms were small, they were comfortable and had recently been renovated.
We loved the showers

2 adults and 2 seniors traveling by train. The location is awesome - across from the Chateau Frontenac - how do you get better than that? The Rue Tresor is perfect for a stroll and finding something unique from the artisans that set up shop along the way. You are a comfortable walk to a million things in the Old City. As they say - location, location, location! The staff went above and beyond every time! Helping with great suggestions and hidden gems, booking tours, arranging taxis etc. The food in the restaurant was superb! I had stayed approximately 25 years ago and was surprised to see that the food was still living up to it's 5 star standards! The only draw back is that the rooms are all upstairs - no elevator - which was a little bit of a challenge for our 79 year old aunt. However, she loved the place so much she said it was worth it! I hope it's not another 25 years before I get back again!
