A nice small hotel in the old city, and just 5 minutes from the Chateau Frontenac. Easy access to all the sights. Be sure to visit Basville.

Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly and showed around the Inn. What a beautiful place! Nothing too over the top, but a very comfortable Inn that transported me to another place. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Location was great, even for someone like myself who has a hard time walking distances. A very VERY short distance from the boardwalk area right off the river. I could not get enough of the croissants in the morning (or the coffee!), but otherwise breakfast was just okay at best. I guess the biggest issue I had was when the wind blew a potted plant in our room off of the windowsill, and I tried to clean up with a washcloth. When I returned to the room some time later, I had a quite scolding message in a ziplock bag (with another old cloth in the bag) that asked that I NOT use a white washcloth to 'clean'. It really wasn't a big deal, but I'd have to say that was probably my only issue. It kind of stunk also that parking was a small distance away, but not a really big deal as we walked most of the time. Oh, and the bathroom was so incredibly tiny...never have I seen one so small. WOW. I will very happily return. Quebec City is just so incredibly dreamy.

Ideally located in the center of the old Quebec, in a very quiet street, the Hotel Cap Diamant offers all you are waiting from a Bed and Breakfast :
- a warm welcome : people very nice and helpful,
- typical nice rooms : very cozy and comfortable, spaciaous and well furnished,
- a fair breakfast : I say fair only because I saw other breakfast completely unbelievable in Ontario, but this was good nyway!
- support for all information you need about Quebec.

Not sure about what follows but the only think I missed in the hotel was like a small bar to enjoy a drink (beer or wine) in the evening in their beaufiful garden.

I recommand this hotel without a doubt.

This hotel was only a couple of blocks from everything that was happening in the upper town. Our room,which was the King suite, was literally the third and fourth floors of the building. It appeared to be professionally decorated, very spacious and looked like it could have been someone's appartment once upon a time. The bed was excellent, we slept very well.. The air conditioning kept us very comfortable and the lighted stone wall behind the clawfoot tub needs to be seen to be believed. The balcony that allows you to see all the way to the sea is a real asset. The breakfast in the morning was very good with breakfast cake and excellent coffee among other things. It was a great time to meet other people staying at the hotel. The owner was very helpful when it came to the parking garage. It was $14.00 a day but very worth it. Just do not bring a tall SUV because the garage is underground and it would not fit. There are three flights of stairs to this room which did not bother us at all. You should not come to the walled city if you can not walk. I will recommend this hotel and especially this King Size Suite to all my friends!
