I recently stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a business trip. As you walk in, the lobby area is beautiful (trying to mimic a NYC boutique hotel) and the front desk staff is friendly (and they speak English.)
I went up to my room and it was very clean; however, once I tried to adjust the heat in the room, there was a smell of burning. I realized the heater was spewing out cold air no matter which combination I chose from the wall-mounted controls. I slept with the heat off for the night, as I (like most people) cannot sleep with cold air blowing on me. The 2nd night, it was to go down to zero so I had to figure out the control. I called downstairs and they gave me the "Bill Gates solution" (turn it off and on again.) This; however, did not work and I slept with no heat for the 2nd night, thankfully it didn't get too cold.
They have a lovely continental breakfast in the morning with fruit, bagels, english muffins, preserves, peanut butter, fresh fruit juices, good coffee, etc. Just what you need to start your day!
And if you are looking for room service, there is none offered by the hotel, but they have a large book with flyers from mostly restaurants in Galeries de la Capitale (a nice shopping mall across the street.) Would highly, highly recommend the mushroom and onion poutine from Salvatore's pizza- delivered right to your room!!
