Let me first start off by saying the man behind the desk was extremely friendly and helpful to us. Now that I've said that, the hotel was dumpy!! Our air conditioner froze, so we were told to open the window, which we did, but closed it immediately because there was no screen. The manager was nice enough to bring us a fan. The furniture was old and cheap. The bathroom was very small. There was no elevator, luckily we were on the second floor, we only had to go up one flight of stairs, we had heavy luggage. The breakfast room was a closet. Parking was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel, unless you are desperate!!

The hotel had moderately-sized comfortable rooms in a really great part of town surrounded by great cafes and a local supermarket. The hotel staff are immensely helpful - breakfasts are plain, but fine, and you can take them back to your room. Really comfy beds. It would be fab to have a fridge in your room - or even access to some ice, but for the price - no complaints. A no-nonsense, friendly little hotel. Close to the park.

The experience was terrible! We we're greeted by a woman yelling "you can't park there" and it only went hill from there. We reserved a parking spot over a month ago but when we arrived, they gave away our spot. They have a ZERO cancellation policy...I don't know how they get away with that. They still managed to charge us for parking and try and tell us that was the quoted price without the parking spot...scam artists! Our room felt like a basement, the AC made weird noises, a little dingy for sure. Now the location is phenomenal...even with an awful hotel. Montreal made me forget all about the hotel problems...very charming city!

Hotel is no more than a two star, maybe a 1. No parking at all, they tell me when I get there that I should have reserved a spot for $20.00. They were probably right as it cost me over $30.00 for one night and had to keep going to the meter. Rooms dark and dingy, although the bedding was clean. Door to nowwhere in our room and even with the renovations they are trying to do it looks like they are letting the kids do them. Would not stay again or recomend to anyone.
However the worst part was I booked through Hotels.com and was advised of nothing about the hotel, cancelation policy etc. When I tired to cancel they told me they would have to call the Hotel Manager, came back to me and said he would not cancel. When I went to check out in the morning, Hotel Manager says everything OK taking care of by Hotels.com, they just get sent the money, Someones not telling the truth. I will never use Hotels.com again either.
