Service was this hotel's outstanding quality. Concierge service included going to the pharmacy and nearby restaurant to get me medicine and soup when I got a cold from the extreme weather conditions. They also have a grocery buying service which is helpful in such inclement weather. My only complaint is really nothing they could have effected: the city snowblowers and street clearing services begin around 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. on snowy days, and the noise is so constant and loud (like loud garbage trucks scraping pavement all night!) that my sleep was disturbed on nights when it had snowed that day. Thankfully, out of my 2 week stay, this only occurred most of the first week, but not during the 2nd week. When I inquired at the hotel desk if there were any rooms in the hotel that were protected from this very intrusive noise, they said no.
Only other problem during sleep was what felt like a cool breeze blowing over me from the heating system which has a vent over it that is forced to blow air in a certain direction and cannot be adjusted. Had to pile up pillows on my bed to block this uncomfortable cool breeze. To the hotel's credit, because of the very dry inside air, they provided me with an excellent air vaporizer that helped immensely.
Pool was closed for maintenance during most of my stay which was unfortunate.
Lovely staff, very large suites; definitely recommend this hotel -- probably a much nicer stay in nicer weather.

Stayed in December 2011 for work. My King Studio was massive and had a clean, fully equipped kitchen that was heaven after a long day of travel. The staff were helpful and everyone spoke perfect English. There is a business centre off the lobby which seems to be open 24 hrs where there are computers and printers which let me check in for my flight home without any cost or fuss since I wasn't traveling with a laptop. The breakfast room was pleasant and the food fresh. This room had a nice view of the street out front which runs along one side of Square Phillips. The Bay and St. Catherine's St are less than a block away. Older refurbished building which has very high ceilings and strangely interesting columns at odd places in many of the rooms. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

We stayed here with daughter and her boyfriend in December 2011. These apartments are spacious, well-appointed and clean. We had a two bedroom apartment which had one bathroom and kitchen facilities. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Our flight was delayed and we were late arriving but our warm and comfortable room was waiting for us (outside temp was -10C). The concierge was particularly helpful in suggesting places to visit, to shop, to drink and to eat. Try Upstairs jazz restaurant (just a couple of blocks walk) for good beer, food, and music. The apartments are very close to Vieux Montreal for sightseeing, Catherine's Street for shopping, and the Metro for visiting Mont Royale.

We have been to Montreal and Quebec city last August with our family. Our room had two queen beds and a nice kitchennette! Great location with awesome restaurants, parks and churches around! Notredame Basilica is walkable but a bit far. We loved the service, vallet parking was a bit expensive, but we just paid for it than taking pain with the parking!
It would be ideal if the carpets are either changed or given a full-deep-cleaning. That would make the hotel just perfect!
