The location of this hotel is very close to Old Montreal and the Station Berri UQAM ,which is the main hub station of Montreal!!
The bed is not too big and not too small and the client is easy to talk.
If you want to save your money and stay convenient hotel, I recommend this Hotel Viger.

I stayed here twice in Sept 2011 and found it a reasonable place to stay. The room I had was small but clean and quiet. Very hospitable owner and staff. The streets surrounding the hotel do have a few homeless people but I was never bothered by them even when returning late at night. It is a 5 min walk to the old city quarter and a brisk 25 to the main rail station.

If you want a comfortable budget hotel then this is the one, but book as it was busy on both occasions that I stayed in Sept.

Location is GREAT! Walk to old Montreal. Surrounding area no so hot! Parking off site. Breakfast a joke unless you get there early. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean. Cheap and cheerful!

The hotel is run down, the breakfast room is tiny. I cannot comment on the complimentary breakfast as I left to early to have it.
My room on the basement level was basic but i think it was clean. The TV is ancient.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating, even when I turned up at 5am for them to look after my suitcase until I could check in.
