We were lucky to find this hotel. We were just going in to the tourist office and heard Polish language spoken. It was a woman, Dzunia, who owns a Polish restaurant, Mazurka, where we ate later that night. She recommended Hotel de Paris and says she sends her visitor friends there. We booked and had an excellent stay in the lovely building, reminds of Old Europe.

We are a mixed girls and boys swimming club from north europe and we came for a meet in Montreal. Some of us had more money to spend than others. This hotel was great since it also had a youth hostel in the annex. 5 of us took budget rooms and got upgraded to standard rooms as the budget rooms are being renovated. We were very happy. 7 of us stayed in the hostel and duma, my friend, Ushi, from Finland loved it and met a nice guy, The people at the hotel were very nice, especially the manager, Dino. Breakfast bagels and cream cheese was super. We were close to the night life and had a good time. We came third in the swim meet.

My buddies came to Montreal for a bachelor party and were looking for a place in a good location at a competitive price. We found a perfect location at an amazing price! We were walking distance from the hub of Montreal's night scene that included an abundance of supper clubs and a casino, a huge plus for out partying needs. Our biggest problem was that the day after the party we had some time to enjoy some shopping and lunch and couldn't decide on all the nearby choices!
The service was very friendly and the staff offered us plenty of help with suggestions on how to spend our night
Also, after a huge night of partying we got a great night sleep in the dead quiet conditions of the hotel

My boyfriend and I both have kids and needed some space to ourselves. A friend told me about her stay at the hotel and I decided to try it. It was really nice, the staff was friendly, the building clean, and the privacy perfect.
