“Great large room with spectacular in room coffee maker”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We were told that the room has just been renovated. It was large with a queen bed, a sofa and arm chair beside, an electric fireplace, a desk, and a kitchenette. The coffee maker makes really good espresso and factor in I have a fansy espresso machine at home!
The bathroom has a large bath AND a large shower! You still find a lot of room for two people in there.
Beside the restaurent that is average, it is the best place I have been in Montréal.

“Wonderful warm cosy stay in Old Montreal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

My spouse and I had the opportunity for a brief getaway in Montreal after a business meeting. We looked around at our options for a chic boutique hotel and settled on Le Saint-Sulpice. From the moment we arrived we felt at ease and relaxed. The front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. The lobby area is well appointed and elegantly decorated and there was a wonderful warm scent in the air. Our room was a little small but lovely, warm, well decorated and comfortable. There were no noise issues or problems with the stay at all. Saturday night there was music - mostly drums - heard from the downstairs bar but this stopped before 11 PM and was in any event only dimly noted background noise. The room itself was quiet and comfortable. The staff were always helpful in answering questions about where to go for dinner etc. I can't comment on the food as we did not eat in the hotel itself but there are numerous good restaurants within a short walk - even if it was a little cold during our stay!

In short we loved our cozy quiet relaxed getaway at Le Saint-Sulpice! My only complaint was that the in room coffee maker carried a $2.50 charge per cup - a nicer touch would have been to include this in the room charge itself. Otherwise I would heartily recommend this hotel if you are looking for a chic relaxed atmosphere in Old Montreal.

“Weekend Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

My boyfriend and I decided to visit old Montreal for the weekend and I found great reviews about this hotel. It definitely did not dissappoint! The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. The hotel was very clean and we ended up getting a free upgrade to a suite. The bed was very comfortable! We are definitely coming back to this hotel when we visit in the summer. Highly recommended!

“Romantic Getaway!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

My boyfriend and I took a last minute romantic getaway to Old Montreal and came across this charming treasure of a hotel. The cobble stone street entrance made me feel like we were in Europe. The suite we got was inexpensive, massive with a small kitchen and super romantic. Next time in Old Montreal we know where to stay.

“Great Stay - Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We stayed here the night after we got married. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice. The hotel does have some quirks, but for a very old building in the heart of Montreal it is very nice.

The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. We had a coffee machine in our room which was nice and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is having to hand over your car keys when arriving to the door man.

Overall an excellent hotel with lots of character.
