My boyfriend and I took a last minute romantic getaway to Old Montreal and came across this charming treasure of a hotel. The cobble stone street entrance made me feel like we were in Europe. The suite we got was inexpensive, massive with a small kitchen and super romantic. Next time in Old Montreal we know where to stay.

We stayed here the night after we got married. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice. The hotel does have some quirks, but for a very old building in the heart of Montreal it is very nice.

The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. We had a coffee machine in our room which was nice and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is having to hand over your car keys when arriving to the door man.

Overall an excellent hotel with lots of character.

Very beautiful hotel with huge and comfortable rooms (my room was composed by: bath, bedroom, little kitchen, hall with fireplace).
The breakfast is served in a nice covered garden.
I was here for a business trip and the convention center of the hotel was convenient.
The hotel is situated in a strategic position in the old Montreal and near the city centre.

Great hotel. Very quiet and nice. Rooms are great--like a long suite with the bedroom in the middle and the "living room" on the end by the window where it can be noisy in the early hours of morning as people leave the bar across the street--but I never heard it from the bedroom. Great bedding and pillows. Not super busy and once I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to be called to the bar downstairs around 2:30 in the afternoon so I could order some food so there is a downside to that, but overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location in the Old City and we could also walk to downtown and all the shopping in less than 20 minutes.
