My husband and I stay at this hotel 2-4 times a year on business. I keep wondering when we will be lucky enough to get one of the new updated rooms, especially since we are returning guests?? Who do they save them for? Again, our room looked worn out, there was mold around the tub, black dirt on the ceiling by the venting, and no fan in the bathroom. Check-in is always fast and easy. We stayed two nights, as always, and didnt want any cleaning staff in our room until after we checked out. We kept the "do not disturb" sign on the door and the staff were respectful of this and didnt bother us. This trip I finally had the opportunity to use the gym and pool facilities. I was disappointed that there was no working hand sanitizer in the gym. The equipment is good, the pool was wonderful, and the sauna perfect. The location for this hotel is minutes from the train station, and a 7-10 minute walk to all the amazing shops and restaurants. This is the main reason why we keep returning. This hotel in my opinion is over priced, and its frustrating to see taxes upon taxes when your final bill arrives under your door.

Thank you for posting your review of our property after your recent stay. These are read daily and shared with all of the departments concerned. We enjoy hearing from you!
Unfortunately, we do not have any completed guest rooms at the moment. If there were any in service these would be shared with our guests immediately. A floor of rooms should be available by mid April. I apologise for the signs of wear in the room you received and assure you that we will do our best to keep our present product clean and up to date.
There are vents in all our guest room which draw air and exhaust it from rooftop units. Many hotels have this type of exhaust system as it is much quieter. I have already spoken to our Housekeeping department and we will make sure that hand sanitizer is in place at the health club. Thank you for this suggestion.
I agree that the variety of taxes applied to the guest room charges may seem excessive, but assure you that these are the same applied throughout the province.
