Just returned home after a 7-night stay here. I found the hotel to be fine. Sure, the room was pretty tiny, 2 single beds, small shower/toilet, but clean, functional and very quiet. Would be a bit crowded with two in the room but perfectly comfortable for one. I was only there for the late evenings, with a conference during the day. The free wifi was reliable and efficient (and I was on 6th floor). Could use audio skype (didn't try video) and other apps easily. Breakfast was adequate too with toast, basic cereals, tea coffee juice and pastries. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, so I would definitely recommend this as a good value hotel which has made a big effort to lift its game, as some of the comments in previous reviews have clearly been addressed.

There is something wrong with their wireless connection. For some reason I could browse but I could not access any email - gmail, hotmail, work email. I called front desk and the guy was absolutely useless. He kept on telling me they did not manage the network without offering any help. He could not even let me finish any of my sentences and hang up on me. I should have gotten his name and filed a complaint about his rudeness.

Read reviews after I booked and expected the worst. Pleasantly surprised: room was clean, neat, carpet good, staff pleasant. What's true: teeny tiny shower, room small, furnishings of low quality but clean and in good condition. Good motel in area surrounded by more luxurious places. Price good, location excellent. Didn't hear other rooms, room was serviced every day. Rated average because it is a very good motel quality, not a resort.

The rooms are definitely small. But considering all I did was sleep there overnight, it did the job. Well located, close to old Montreal and metro stations. There are better hotels in the area, but for a higher price. Once again this was alright for an overnight visit. I had no major problems.
