We stayed here for 2 nights while we toured Montreal. I had read positive TA reviews, and I will add ours. First, to be candid, there is very little free parking on the street, and what there is becomes available only after 5pm, and you'd better be quick about it! We were lucky in that we arrived at 5pm on a Friday, and my husband got a street parking slot (thanks to much help from the staff), and we were able to keep the car there until Sunday morning. I don't know what you'd do if you come during the work week.
We do not mind walking, but the hotel is a distance from Vieux Montreal. The metro is nearby and very efficient, we felt.
The staff at Armor Manoir was very, very helpful, and they all speak excellent English and will even be understanding and kind if you try out your French on them!
We had a lovely and spacious room - unfortunately, it faced the street, and the nights are very noisy - bar goers, partiers, and ambulances - until midnight or so. So, ask for a room away from Sherbrooke.
The breakfast was fine - croissants and a couple other sweet pastries, toast/bagels/Eng. muffins, orange juice, individual portions of applesauce, wrapped granola bars, tea, and coffee.
We thought the price was excellent ($99) and highly recommend the hotel. Incidentally, when I started looking at reviews, I found Armor under "bed and breakfasts," but it is a hotel.
