The hotel is very conveniently located close to a metro station. Our room was clean and a good size for a family of 3. We liked the fact that there was a pool and used it. Hotel staff was very helpful. breakfast was not included in our price though and we did not use the hotel restaurant for that. Really, a fine no frills hotel, we enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel is located at Sherbrooke Street just minutues away from downtown and a drive away from Mount Parc Royale and the old town and harbour. Great service and breakfast included, the only issue was parking was expensive and off location. I think the hotel is undergoing renovation now, so it could get even better (and pricier too!)

I was attempting to look into this Marriott but read that it is closing. The closing date was
4/29/10. No wonder the Marriott website showed no availability on the dates I was
checking into. Oh well !

Not a bad value, but the rooms are very small and in need of renovation. I prefer a central thermostat as opposed to an HVAC unit in the wall/window. Always tough to control the temperature. Bathroom was very small, with the vanity only 3 feet high maybe.
Breakfast was good though and internet access was pretty fast. No mini-fridge or microwave, but flat screen TV was nice. You have to pay for daily parking, which is not unusual in downtown Montreal and call ahead for the valet to get your car, which can take 10-15 minutes in traffic. Bed was ok, but I always spin it around to get the good side that no one sleeps on. Fitness center is good, several cardio machines and a universal weight machine. Pool appears to be only open at certain times of the year. Call ahead if you are expecting it to be open.
